Raging
River Amulet: this amulet begins with the invocation "In
the Name of" followed by the first three letters
of G-d's 24-letter Name (see 42-letter Name Amulet). Traditionally
the opening invocation is followed by names of angels. Here an
acronym of Psalm 91:11 (final letters) is used. The main line
is from Exodus 15:8 and the intent is to calm a raging
river ( this can be either internal or external turmoil).
The virtues of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs are invoked
for added protection from emotional stress and physical danger.
The closing statement is "Amen" and "May
it be thy will".
